Who Am I?
Welcome cookie friends!
My name is Rachel Hamelryck and I am a cookie artist for my local community! My passion for baking was inspired by my two grandmothers (Nana and Meme). Their love for baking sweet treats for every occasion, always made our family get togethers extra special. And is something I aspire to carry into my future family traditions. It has been such a blessing to get to share this passion with others, creating personalized cookies for families to add a little extra sweetness to every event!
How I got started?
I joined in a local decorating class one evening and remember coming home telling my husband that I was in love with this craft. The next day I bought some books and started to get to work teaching myself the ins and outs of cookies. And let me tell you it was a hot mess express at the beginning, but my sweet family kept encouraging me to pursue my dream of being a cookie artist. And I have absolutely fell in love with the complexity and creativity that accompanies cookie decorating.
Who Are The Doodles?
I'd also like to take some time to introduce you to the doodles! I am the luckiest person to get to be a dog mama to my two fur babies. When I started my business, I knew I had to include my doodles in the process. And so, Doodle Dough Bakery was created!
Theo
Theo is my sweet Golden doodle and was my inspiration for my brand name. He is the sweetest most kindhearted dog anyone could ever ask for! He loves to cuddle, swim, chew on big sticks, and read/visit at local elementary schools!
Winnie
Winnie is my sweet Berne doodle puppy, who has added lots of laughter and smiles to my family this past year. She loves to cuddle, swim, meet new friends, and has found a new passion of hiding items from mom (which always keeps my house interesting).
